Born in Hyogo Prefecture in Japan in 1980, Atsushi Wada studied animation at Kyoiku University in Osaka and at the Image Forum Institute at Moving Image in Tokyo. Wada's animation films have often enjoyed international success. He is currently working in the animation department at Tokyo University of the Arts' Graduate School.
